We have a modern fully equipped workshop with four servicing & repair bays and an OPTL split lane MOT test bay, which allows us to carry out two MOT’s at the same time.
We offer garages services to most makes of vehicle, including MOT testing to Class IV petrol & diesel, routine servicing & repairs, tyre replacement (branded, budget & puncture repair), exhausts, batteries, air conditioning, wheel alignment & full warning light diagnostics & repair (engine management, anti-lock brakes, SRS airbag, traction control, etc…).
We are members of the RMI (Retail Motor Industry) and IGA (Independent Garage Association). They are responsible for running ‘Trust My Garage’ code of practice which is certified by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI). We subscribe to the National Conciliation Service (NCS), which is the UK’s certified Automotive Retail Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. As one of our customers you are able to use these services if you feel we have not dealt with your needs in a satisfactory manner.

Below is a general guide to Workshop Prices. Our current hourly rate is £88.00 + VAT. We base repair work on Autodata I.C.M.E repair times which means you pay the industry recommended time, rather than the time the technician spends on the job. We seek authorisation before work is carried out, so your are kept informed of what work is being done and at what cost. There aren’t many people who like spending money on car repair bills, so communication is the best way to make sure things run smoothly.
To save you money we recommend booking a MOT test & ANNUAL SERVICE on the same day due to duplicated work. An MOT test is a statutory inspection which checks the safety of your vehicle from steering, suspension & brakes to lights, seatbelts, headlamp aim & exhaust emissions. A SERVICE involves checking & measuring of serviceable components including tyres, brakes, antifreeze, battery and the replacement of serviceable components including engine oil & filter, air/fuel/cabin filters, spark plugs & air conditioning refrigerant. We recommend the replacement of these components to manufacturers standards. Engine oil & filter annually, brake fluid & cabin filters 2/3 years and air/fuel filters & spark plugs 2-6 years dependent on manufacturer.
